KATHMANDU, Jan 10: On the fourth day of the week, a slight decline was witnessed in the trading price of gold and silver. The price of gold has decreased by Rs 100 per tola while the price of silver has declined by Rs 5 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the trading price of fine gold stands at Rs 118,500 per tola on Wednesday. On the previous day, it was traded at Rs 118,600. Earlier, after the gold price remained stagnant for four days, the price of gold started to decline gradually. It was traded at Rs 118,800 rupees per tola on Monday.
Gold and silver prices remain steady
Similarly, standard gold is being traded at Rs 117,950 per tola today. It was sold at Rs 118,050 per tola yesterday.
Silver is being traded at Rs 1,410 per tola on Wednesday. It was stable on Monday and Tuesday at Rs 1,415 per tola. Before this, silver was traded at Rs 1,420 per tola for the past four days till Monday.
In the international market, gold is priced at $2028.58 per ounce on Wednesday, down from $2032.13 on Tuesday. The price of gold, which was $2045.57 per ounce on Sunday, reached $2031.8 per ounce on Monday.
The price of silver has also gone down, with silver trading at $22.94 per ounce on Wednesday, down from $23.09 on Tuesday.
