Firewood collectors attack army-man in Gokarna

KATHMANDU, Dec 19: A group of people who were out in the Gokarna jungle to collect firewood has attacked an army-man on Saturday morning. The army-man has been injured in the attack. He has a deep cut in his hand. However, the identity of the soldier is yet to be revealed.

It is learnt that the group had cut the hand of the army-man in the clash that ensued after the latter tried to block them from entering the jungle. The army-man belongs to Barda Bahadur Battalion Gha.




The troops deployed for the security of the jungle have taken 10 of the groups with firewood under control. The firewood collectors are not said to the locals.
