BAITADI, Dec 30: Tremors of earthquake were felt in hilly districts of the Sudurpaschim Province including Baitadi. The quake, which struck at 12:53 am last night, shook parts of Baitadi, Darchula and other districts.
According to Rajesh Sharma, Technical Assistant at the Surkhet Earthquake Measurement Centre, the epicenter of the 4.6 magnitude earthquake was in India.
The epicenter was reported below the Khada plateau in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Police said that no information has been received about the damage caused by the quake.
