The governmental and non-governmental offices have been directed to remain closed from Sunday to Wednesday to make the feedback collection a success. Many participants said that Karnali should be made a federal state with autonomous power, while others were of the view that Karnali shouldn't be declared an autonomous state unless there is economic, social, educational and political development and availability of sufficient skilled manpower.

Sonam Chejum Lama, former Constituent Assembly (CA) member said that the new constitution should have a provision for a Karnali Women Commission for uplifting the entire women in the Karnali region. Many participants pointed out that the draft constitution lacked specific provisions for the development of Karnali.
