Deuba nominated NC central member

KATHMANDU, Oct 26: President of the Nepali Congress Sushil Koirala on Tuesday nominated senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba to the party´s central working committee, according Dr Shekhar Koirala, a central committee member.



President Koirala had defeated Deuba in the 12th general convention of the party held in September. [break]



According to the party´s statute, the president can nominate 25 percent of central members in the central working committee. Deuba has been the first member to be nominated.



“The party president started nominations from senior leader Deuba to send good message in the party,” said Dr Koirala.
