They say schemes launched during festive occasions will give momentum to sales for at least a month.Syakar Trading Company (STC), the authorized distributor of Honda motorcycles for Nepal, has launched 'Naya Barsha Subha Rahos, Safe Rahos' scheme targeting the New Year. Under the scheme, consumers can win cash prize of Rs 4,000 to Rs 100,000 through scratch cards. Similarly, only lucky winner can win Rs 100,000 every week through lucky draw.

HH Bajaj -- the authorized distributor of Bajaj motorcycles for Nepal -- has announced a special offer under which one can take Bajaj two-wheelers on installment at down payment of only 20 percent. Buyers can pay the remaining amount on 30 monthly installments.
Similarly, Nepal General Marketing (NGM) -- the authorized distributor of Hero two-wheelrs -- is planning to introduce cash discount offer to customers on all its models next week" "The market is very competitive and all major brands have already announced their New Year offe"," Dinesh Ratna Bajracharya, manager of NGM told Republica" "As festive schemes directly affect sales, we are announcing cash offer next week," he added.
Officials of Nepal Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) -- the umbrella organization of domestic automobile dealers -- said New Year offers from dealers would boost sales which had been slowing down for the past few months. "Two-wheelers sale has not increased as per our expectations this year," Gopi Neupane, general secretary of NADA, said, adding" "We are expecting strong sales growth in this festive season."
