CIAA files graft case against two Dhanusha school officials

KATHMANDU, March 16: The commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Monday filed a charge sheet at Special Court against ‪ Komal Kanta Jha and ‪Dev Krishna Yadav, Chairperson‬ and Principal‬ of the School Management Committee of Rastriya Primary School at Thhera-9, Dhanusha respectively for ‪misappropriation‬ of the government budget.

Issuing a press statement today, the anti-graft body said that a charge sheet has been filed  at SC against the accused duo as per Sec 17 of Prevention of Corruption Act 2002, seeking maximum punishment as per Sec 3(1)(e) of the same Act.The CIAA has claimed in the charge sheet that the duo embezzled the allocated budget for educating primary school children by providing fake and forged documents to establish fake school, thereby adversely affecting and damaging the public school for personal interest.
