Chief Secretary asks all to participate in clean-up campaign genuinely

RATNANAGAR, Chitwan, March 8: Chief Secretary Leela Mani Paudyal has urged all not to participate in any of the clean up campaigns just to upload the photos in Facebook.

Chief Secretary Paudyal expressed the view that some people now have engaged in the clean up campaigns only to upload photos in social networks.

Inaugurating a clean-up programme organised by the Bharatpur Sub-Metropolitan City at Chitwan this morning, he said administration has also the right to detain those throwing garbage haphazardly.

Stating that the garbage from the hospitals in Chitwan is a serious matter for all, Paudyal stressed that all should be serious to manage the wastes. RSS
