The deceased is 30-year-old Saroj Thakur of Janakpur Municipality-13, the Area Police Office, Bardibas said. Critically injured Thakur died minutes after reaching the Hope Hospital at Bardibas-1.
Bhupendra Sah, 40, who was riding pillion on the same motorcycle, has sustained serious injuries in the mishap. He has been taken to B&B Hospital in Kathmandu for treatment.
Police have impounded the bus and held the driver in this connection.
