JANAKPURDHAM, May 30: An unidentified group of masked men robbed a bank in Mahottari district in broad daylight this afternoon. According to the police, the robbery took place at NMB Bank’s branch office located at Mahottari Rural Municipality-2, Mahottari Bazar at 12 noon today.

Mahottari Police Spokesperson DSP Dilip Kumar Giri said that the armed group entered the bank and looted Rs 3.8 million by brandishing pistols at the counter.
According to the police, the group of four people showed pistols at 12 o’clock and robbed Rs 3.8 million. They reportedly entered the bank wearing masks and escaped on motorcycles. The police have intensified their search for the robbers.
