Buddha Air  plane suffers bird strike in Pokhara, returns to Kathmandu after technical inspection

KATHMANDU, Nov 15: A Buddha Air aircraft that was grounded following a bird strike in Pokhara has returned to Kathmandu after undergoing a technical inspection.

On Saturday morning, flight no. 604, which was preparing to depart from Pokhara Regional International Airport for Kathmandu, struck a kite during takeoff. The aircraft was immediately taxied back to the parking bay after the incident.

According to Buddha Air Spokesperson Dipendra Karn, the aircraft successfully completed the necessary technical checks and has since flown back to Kathmandu.
