KATHMANDU, March 24: Police have arrested 15 individuals from different parts of the country in possession of illegal drugs during routine patrol operations, according to the Central Police News Desk.
An Indian national, Masul Ansari, was arrested from Biratnagar Metropolitan City-15 with brown heroin.

Similarly, two individuals were arrested from Inaruwa Municipality-4 in Sunsari, while another was taken into custody from Golbazar Municipality-4 in Siraha with brown heroin. One person was also arrested from Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-8 in Kailali.
In Nawalparasi West, two individuals were arrested from Sunwal Municipality-12, while two more were taken into custody from Birendranagar Municipality-10 in Surkhet.
Police also arrested two individuals each from Banke and Bhume Rural Municipality-2 in Rukum East in connection with drug-related offences.
Further investigation into the cases is underway, police said.
