Cooperative fraud case: Rabi Lamichhane found complicit, Dhanraj Gurung to be investigated

KATHMANDU, Sept 16: The parliamentary special investigation committee formed to investigate embezzlement of cooperative funds has concluded that Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, was involved in the embezzlement of cooperative funds.

KATHMANDU, July 19: The Parliamentary Special Investigation Committee formed earlier to investigate alleged involvement of ‘unauthorized persons’ in revising tax rates in the budget prepared by former Finance Minister Janardan Sharma is holding its meeting on Tuesday as well. The meeting is scheduled to hold discussions with experts related to CCTV.
