KATHMANDU, Nov 15: The Federation of Truck Transport Entrepreneurs Nepal (FTTEN) has warned of launching protests if the government does not withdraw the recent hike in the prices of petroleum products.
BIRGUNJ, Sept 9: According to the District Police Office, Parsa, two trucks (Na 3 Kha 5165 and Na 3 Kha 5525) heading to Chitwan from Birgunj that were carrying smuggled goods were taken under control from the Gandak road section of Birgunj Metropolitan City-14 at 8:30PM on Sunday and handed over to the revenue investigation office, Pathalaiya, for further action.
DAMAK, Nov 9: Police on Tuesday morning impounded four trucks with 50 bulls which were being taken to Jhapa from Morang. A joint team of Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force had arrested the drivers and taken the trucks under control at 4 am. According to the security forces, the bulls were being taken to India.
