KATHMANDU, Sept 19: Former minister and member of the House of Representatives, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, who is implicated in the Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA)'s Telecommunications Traffic Monitoring and Fraud Control System (TERAMOCS) procurement case, gave a statement to the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) this week. A source close to Karki told Republica that he contacted the CIAA himself after news started circulating about him not appearing to give his statement.
