The deceased has been identified as Santosh Kumar Yadav,35, of Gaurigunj in Jhapa district. Yadav was riding a motorcycle (Me6Pa4818) towards Urlabari when it hit a van (Ko1Cha7894) coming from the opposite direction in Rajghat-5.Yadav died on the spot, police said. The van driver Durga Limbu of Biratnagar-11 has been taken into custody for necessary action.
Meanwhile, a youth drowned while swimming in the Bakraha river of Hasandaha-7 of the district. Suraj Kuinkel,15, of the same locality had gone missing while swimming in the river. He was later found dead on the bank of the river at around 8:00 pm last night, police said. RSS
