MYAGDI, Dec 23: A youth of Myagdi district has constructed a helipad in Mangala Rural Municipality-5, Arman with his own investment.
Tilak Dhakal of Arman constructed the helipad in his private land for public use. The government had recently introduced 'air ambulance' service for rescuing pregnant women, infants and elderly people from rural areas. Therefore, Dhakal decided to invest Rs 150,000 in order to make this program more effective.

"I hope people will immensely benefit from this initiative," said Dhakal, adding, "I will also take responsibility for its repair and maintenance."
Dhakal, who operates Sangam Hardware and Supplies in Darbang, expects that this helipad will not just benefit the locals but will also flourish tourism. Arman village is prone to disasters so helipad was one of its prime requirements. Not just the locals but also the people's representatives have praised him for his selfless work.
