KATHMANDU, May 5: Nepal is set to play its first match against Hong Kong under the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier.
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) released Nepal's match schedule on Monday. According to the announcement, Nepal is placed in Group C alongside Hong Kong and Bahrain.
The group stage will follow a double round-robin format. The team finishing at the top of each group will advance to the Super Round.
Hong Kong, the Pearl of the Orient, will shine again

A total of nine teams are participating in the qualifier, divided into three groups
The top team from each of the three groups will advance to the Super Round league stage. From there, the top two teams will qualify for the Global Qualifier.
The qualifier tournament will be held in Thailand from May 9 to 20, featuring nine teams: host nation Thailand, Nepal, Hong Kong, Bahrain, Bhutan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Qatar, and the UAE.
The Nepali women's cricket team, currently training in India, will travel to Thailand directly from there.
