SURKET, June 3: Sixteen more individuals tested positive for COVID-19 in Karnali Province on Wednesday.
Karnali Academy of Health Sciences, Jumla, and Karnali Provincial Hospital, Surket, confirmed 16 new cases of COVID-19 during tests conducted through PCR method.
With 54 new cases today, Karnali COVID-19 tally reaches 641

According to Dr. Laxmi Narayan Tiwari, the chief of Health Service Division under Ministry of Social Development, seven people from Kalikot district including a four-month-old baby, seven from Dailekh district and two from Salyan district were diagnosed with COVID-19.
Of the sixteen infected, one is female and 15 others are males.
With 16 fresh cases, the COVID-19 tally in Karnali Province has soared to 271.
