Suryamaya Shrestha, 45, struck her husband Raju Shrestha, 50, to death with a pickle bottle over a minor dispute this morning.
A police preliminary investigation shows Suryamaya Shrestha's involvement in the murder. "Raju died on the spot after being hit by Suryamaya Shrestha with a pickle bottle," said DSP Prajit KC at Metropolitan Police Circle, Singha Durbar.
According to police, Raju died on the spot after being hit with the pickle bottle.
Police have taken Suryama Shrestha, her 22-year-old son Rajendra Shrestha under control on the murder charge.
KC said they are looking into the case to find out whether there is son's involvement in the murder.
