Here are some windows shortcut keys that everyone should know:


 


Windows Key + R: Opens the Run menu.


Windows + Break: Opens the System Properties dialog box.


Windows + Tab: Opens Task view.


Windows Key + E: Opens Explorer.

Windows + F1: Opens Windows Help and Support.


Windows Key + Up Arrow: Maximizes current window.


Windows Key + D: Hides/displays the desktop.


Windows Key + F: Opens search for files and folders.

Ctrl + Esc: Opens Start menu.


Ctrl + Shift + Esc: Opens Task Manager.


Ctrl + F4: Closes active document (does not work with some applications).


Ctrl + Left or Right Arrow: Moves cursor forward or back one word.


Ctrl + Up or Down Arrow: Moves cursor forward or back one paragraph.
