Ncell to collaborate with Microsoft to provide cloud services

KATHMANDU, Feb 12: Ncell Pvt Ltd has announced its collaboration with Microsoft Corp to provide Microsoft's productivity and communications solutions, cloud resources and online meeting tools in Nepal.

KATHMANDU, Feb 12: Ncell Pvt Ltd has announced its collaboration with Microsoft Corp to provide Microsoft's productivity and communications solutions, cloud resources and online meeting tools in Nepal.


In a special gathering attended by over 250 corporate clients from various banks, businesses and officials of NGO/INGOs last week, Ncell announced its collaboration with Microsoft Corporation for Microsoft Tier 1 Cloud Service Provider (CSP).

Issuing a statement, Ncell said that will be focusing on provide three major products – Office 365 (O365), Azure and Teams to Nepali businesses – under this partnership. “The collaboration landscape is changing rapidly. No longer confined to office buildings, the modern workspace allows people to meet, collaborate, and stay connected across organizational boundaries,” the statement quoted Andy Chong, CEO of Ncell, as saying. “Ncell and Microsoft are combining resources and experience to focus on the fast-growing collaboration arena, which is a strategic market for both companies.”


According to the statement, customers will benefit from Ncell's advanced network services and Microsoft's leadership in software technologies to deliver innovative new collaboration and communication solutions that enhance employee productivity through this strategic relationship.


“Ncell is making these innovative services of Microsoft available for Nepali enterprises as part of its commitment under Ncell for Business (N4B) to deliver world class services and provide opportunities to businesses large and small to reach their potential and achieve goals from better connectivity and digitization,” the statement added.
