KATHMANDU, Oct 10: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said that the weather will remain changeable in most parts of the country today.
According to the MFD, there is currently a partial influence of monsoon winds in the eastern and central parts of Nepal and westerly winds in the western parts.
Weather to be changeable in most parts of Nepal today
It is said that the weather will be generally clear in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces this afternoon with partly cloudy weather in the rest of the provinces. Similarly, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning at a few places in Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and a couple of places in Madhesh and Lumbini provinces, the officials of the MFD said.
The weather will be generally clear in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces tonight with partial to moderate showers in the rest of the provinces. There is a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning at a few places of Koshi Province and a couple of places in Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
The officials of the MFD have requested everyone to take necessary precautions as the weather will remain changeable all over the country and there is a possibility of rain in some places.
