KATHMANDU, July 16: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that his party would play a constructive and active role as the opposition party.
A new government has been formed under the leadership of Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba as per the mandamus issued by the Supreme Court.
Presiding over the first Standing Committee meeting of the party after he stepped down as the prime minister, Chairman Oli said that his party would remain active for safeguarding nationality, democracy and development.
During the Standing meeting held at Tulasilal Memorial Foundation at Chyasal, Lalitpur, he said that the party has reservations over the SC's decision to reinstate the House of the Representative. He however said that the party would help implement the apex court verdict. RSS
