Visiting UML leader Nepal, Indian communist leaders hold talks

KATHANDU, July 27: CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, who is currently on a visit to India, has held ´breakfast´ meetings with Indian communist leaders.



Leader Nepal called on various Indian leaders including general secretary of Marxist Party DB Tripathi, Indian Communist Party´s joint general secretary Pallabsen Gupta, International Department Chief Devrat Biswas, left leader Prakash Karant and Forward Block secretary Devraj. [break]



During the meet, matters related to latest political situation of Nepal and India and bilateral realtions were discussed, said the former Prime Minister Nepal´s personal secretariat.



Earlier, leader Nepal had delivered a speech reflecting contemporary political situation of Nepal while attending a programme organized by Indian Council for World Affair on Friday.



Former Prime Minister Nepal had expected possible cooperation from neighboring countries including India to make the November 19 Constituent Assembly (CA) election a success. The programme was chaired by former Indian Ambassador to Nepal Dev Mukharji.



Nepal is accompanied by UML general secretary Ishwor Pokharel and member of party International Department Rajan Bhattarai. Nepal is set to return home on Sunday.
