Viral fever in Parbat under control

FALEBAS (Parbat), Sept. 6: Viral fever, which was spread for the past two weeks in Parbat district, has come under control.



The viral fever spread in different VDCs situated in southern part of the district including Barrachour, Ranipani, Bahaki and Hubas have completely come under the control. [break]



According to Public Health Officer at the District Health Office, Parbat, Shashi Paudel, around 2,000 persons in the district had received treatment for viral fever.



Schools in Barrachour, Ranipani, Bahaki, among other VDCs were closed following the viral fever and the District Health Office and Nepal Army carried out treatment by running camps.



Paudel said now there is no epidemic of viral fever in the district though there are a few viral fever patients.
