KATHMANDU, July 21: Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun attended a reception organized on the occasion of the National Day of Egypt here today.
The special ceremony was hosted by Egypt's Ambassador to Nepal, Iman Mostafa, at her residence in Lalitpur on the National Day of Egypt and the 62nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Nepal and Egypt.

The chiefs of constitutional bodies, Chief of Army Staff, Purna Chandra Thapa, heads of diplomatic missions in Nepal, various political leaders, as well as high-ranking officials of the government of Nepal among others were also present on the occasion.
An exhibition themed 'Egypt and Nepal: two crossroads of civilization' was also held on the occasion.
