KATHMANDU: Vehicular movement in and around Balkhu area remains disrupted Monday due to protest by locals over the death of a motorcyclist Buddhi Tamang in a road accident. Tamang, 44, succumbed to his wounds he received when his motorbike (Ba 8 Pa 7380) hit a water tanker (Ba 1 Kha 3726) at Kirtipur municipality-3, Sunday evening, police said. He was rushed to Star Hospital, Sanepa and died during treatment. His kin and locals have blocked the road since 10:45 a.m. Sunday at Balkhu intersection demanding relief and compensation to the victim´s family.
