CHITWAN, July 24: Vehicular movement along the Narayanghat-Mugling road section has been disrupted after landslides occurred at Charkilo area in Ichchakamana Rural Municipality-6.
The key highway has been blocked for the second time this week. Earlier, the highway remained blocked for 36 hours since Monday morning. The highway was reopened late Tuesday.

The area has been witnessing heavy rainfall for the past few days. The District Police Office, Chitwan, has urged the people to take precautionary measures keeping in mind that a huge amount of boulders have kept falling from the mountain adjacent to the disrupted highway.
Local authorities are working to resume the vehicular movement by clearing the debris. The Charkilo area has witnessed frequent road disruption in recent days.
