KATARI (UDAYPUR), Oct 12: The Katari-Ghurmi section of the Siddhicharan Highway in Udaypur which was earlier disrupted by the landslide at Bhadaure of Katari municipality-14 resumed Saturday. The highway was blocked by the landslide that occurred in the wee hours on Friday.
Area Police Office, Katari's Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kamal Bajgain, confirmed that the section was restored on Saturday after extensive efforts to clear the debris. The Road Division in Harkapur, Okhaldhunga, coordinated the response to reopen the highway.

The obstruction caused great inconvenience for passengers traveling to the hilly districts of Khotang, Okhaldhunga, and Solukhumbu in Koshi Province and vice versa. With the highway now open, passenger movement has resumed, according to Ambar Bahadur Magar, Ward Chair of Katari-4.
