Social activist Anuradha Koirala along with senior doctors of the hospital jointly inaugurated the hospital Friday.[break]
The hospital has also signed a memorandum of understanding with New Delhi based Fortis Escorts Heart Institute to provide excellent cardiac care in Nepal.
The multi-disciplinary 50-bed hospital features a six-bed emergency unit with central supply of oxygen. The hospital includes out-patients department with consultation rooms, cardiac centre, and intensive care unit with two operation theaters.
The other features in the hospital include rooftop helipad, in-house pharmacy and cafeteria among others.
