KATHMANDU, Feb 17: The Nepal Rastra Bank has set today’s exchange rates for foreign currencies.
According to the central bank, the value of the US dollar remains stable, while the value of the Euro, UK pound sterling, Swiss franc, Australian dollar, Canadian dollar and Singapore dollar has increased.
The buying rate for one US dollar stands at Rs 138.62 and the selling rate is Rs 139.22. For one Euro, the buying rate is Rs 145.45 and the selling rate is Rs 146.08. The buying rate for one UK pound sterling is Rs 174.47 and the selling rate is Rs 175.23. The buying rate for one Swiss franc is Rs 154.12, and the selling rate is Rs 154.78.

The buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 88.05, and the selling rate is Rs 88.43. For one Canadian dollar, the buying rate is Rs 97.73, and the selling rate is Rs 98.15. The buying rate for one Singapore dollar is Rs 103.49, and the selling rate is Rs 103.93, according to the central bank.
The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.10, and the selling rate is Rs 9.14. The buying rate for one Chinese yuan is Rs 19.11, and the selling rate is Rs 19.19. The buying rate for one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 36.96, and the selling rate is Rs 37.12. The buying rate for one Qatari riyal is Rs 38.02, and the selling rate is Rs 38.19.
The buying rate for one Thai Baht is Rs 4.12, and the selling rate is Rs 4.14. The buying rate for one UAE dirham is Rs 37.74, and the selling rate is Rs 37.90. The buying rate for one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 31.26, and the selling rate is Rs 31.39. The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.62, and the selling rate is Rs 9.66. The buying rate for one Swedish krona is Rs 12.96, and the selling rate is Rs 13.02. The buying rate for one Danish krone is Rs 19.49, and the selling rate is Rs 19.58.
The central bank has set the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.81 and the selling rate at Rs 17.88. The buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar is Rs 449.19, and the selling rate is Rs 451.13. The buying rate for one Bahraini dinar is Rs 367.78, and the selling rate is Rs 369.37. The buying rate for one Omani rial is Rs 360.04, and the selling rate is Rs 361.60.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that it may revise these exchange rates at any time as necessary. Commercial banks may offer different exchange rates, which are available on the central bank's website.
