WATERFORD, June 5: The third general meeting of Universal United Nepali Taekwondo Federation (UUNTF), an umbrella organization of former coach and players of Taekwondo, has formed a 23-member working committee under the chairmanship of former head coach Santosh Pradhan. Likewise, Love Prasad Gorkhali has been elected again as a secretary for the upcoming tenure as well.

The meeting held at training hall of Michigan-based Jyoti Everest Taekwondo Association has declared five-point plans as well. According to the plans, the organization will assist the Dojangs of rural areas with sports materials. Likewise, the meeting has decided to award one Taekwondo coach and player each year. Similarly, the meeting has decided to award one player and coach from other genres of sports as well. In addition, the meeting has decided to continue the fund for the development of the Taekwondo.


Speaking at the program, the participants expressed their commitment to develop the sports condition of Nepal and motivate the players and coaches to continue in the sports.
