Similarly, Dhawal Shumsher Rana, Bhuwan Pathak and Kuinti Kumari Shahi were elected to the post of general secretary. Although the party has 199 members in the working committee, the elections were held for the post of 149 members. The remaining 50 members will be nominated by the chairman. Four vice-chairmen, three general secretaries, one treasurer, one joint treasurer, seven joint general secretaries will be nominated by the new working committee.

Meanwhile, stating that there are rare cases of handing over the political responsibilities to the youths in the political system as well as in the parties of the country, Lingden said that the country has not been able to head toward development and prosperity due to the leadership of incompetent leaders after the ‘1990 People’s Movement’. He said that the efforts for a Hindu nation, topics of constitutional monarchy and other issues will be taken forward by launching a nationwide campaign and will implement the use of rules and procedures to end factions within the party. Furthermore, he said that emphasis would be laid in favor of a fully proportional electoral system in the upcoming elections.
