KATHMANDU, Dec 17: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has brought forth the exchange rate for foreign currency for Tuesday. According to today's exchange rate, the value of the US dollar appears to be steadily rising.
The value of US dollar, UK pound sterling, Swiss franc, Canadian dollar, Saudi Arabian riyal, Qatari riyal, UAE dirham, Kuwaiti dinar, South Korean won, and Swedish krona have gone up.. Meanwhile, the European euro has decreased in price.
NRB has set the buying rate of one US dollar at Rs 135.49 and the selling rate at Rs 136.09.
Similarly, NRB has fixed the buying rate of one European euro at Rs 142.13 and the selling rate at Rs 142.76, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling at Rs 171.40 and the selling rate at Rs 172.16, and the buying rate of one Swiss franc at Rs 151.86 and the selling rate at Rs 152.53.

The central bank has put the buying rate of one Australian dollar at Rs 86.08 and the selling rate at Rs 86.46, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar at Rs 95.14 and the selling rate at Rs 95.56, and the buying rate of one Singapore dollar at Rs 100.36 and the selling rate at Rs 100.80.
Similarly, the central bank has adjusted the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen at Rs 8.81 and the selling rate at Rs 8.85, the buying rate of one Chinese yuan at Rs 18.60 and the selling rate at 18.68 rupees, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal at Rs 36.07 and the selling rate at Rs 36.22, and the buying rate of one Qatari riyal at Rs 37.17 and the selling rate at Rs 37.33.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 3.98 and the selling rate is Rs 3.99, the buying rate of one UAE dirham is Rs 36.89 and the selling rate is Rs 37.05, and the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 30.43 and the selling rate is Rs 30.56.
Similarly, the buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.44 and the selling rate is Rs 9.48, the buying rate of one Swedish krona is Rs 12.36 and the selling rate is Rs 12.41, and the buying rate of one Danish krona is Rs 19.06 and the selling rate is Rs 19.14.
The central bank has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.43 and the selling rate at Rs 17.50, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 440.20 and the selling rate at Rs 442.15, and the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at Rs 359.20 and the selling rate at Rs 360.79.
Similarly, the central bank has set the buying rate of one Omani riyal at Rs 351.92 and the selling rate at Rs 353.48. The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees is set at Rs 160 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.
The central bank has stated that it can amend this exchange rate at any time as needed. The exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ, and the updated exchange rates will be available on the central bank's website.
