KAVRE, Nov 25: CPN-UML candidate Gokul Baskota is closer to victory as a member of the House of Representatives from Kavre-2.
Baskota is leading his nearest rival with a margin of 5,718 votes as vote counting is currently underway.
Baskota got 43,681 votes while Shiva Humagai of Nepali Congress (NC) received 37, 963 votes.
Dinesh Humagai of Rashtriya Swatantra Party is in third place with 9,478 votes while Yesu Ale Magar has received 1,422 votes.
