KATHMANDU, Dec 8: The CPN-UML has registered with the Election Commission (EC) to participate in the upcoming House of Representatives (HoR) election under the proportional representation system.
At the EC’s office on Kantipath, UML’s Chief of Central Election Committee Niraj Acharya submitted the party registration application to Acting Chief Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari and other officials.

The EC had launched the registration process for this system last Saturday. Political parties wishing to participate under this system have been requested to submit their applications by 4 PM on December 9.
