KATHMANDU, Dec 13: CPN-UML has continued its lead in the vote counts of federal and provincial parliamentary elections under the Proportional Representation (PR) electoral system till early this morning.
According to the latest vote count results unveiled by the Election Commission, CPN-UML has secured 1,685,069 votes while Nepali Congress is in second position with 1,593,758 votes.
Likewise, CPN (Maoist Centre) is in third position with 664,546 votes followed by Federal Socialist Forum with 173,201 votes.
Similarly, Rastriya Janata Party Nepal has secured 120,437 votes, Rastriya Prajatantra Party107,675, Bibeksheel Saajha 105,151 Nepal Shakti Party Nepal 50,126, RPP-Democratic 36,291 and Rastriya Janamorcha 32,259 votes.
