The UML Standing Committee meeting finalized the names and constituencies of the candidates who would be contesting in the CA election under the FPTP electoral system.[break]
According to a statement issued by the UML headquarter, on Tuesday, UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal will be contesting from the two election constituencies; Ilam-1 and Sarlahi-1.
Leader Madhav Kumar Nepal from Kathmandu-2 and Rautahat-1, leader Bamdev Gautam will be contesting from Bardiya-1 and Pyuthan-1.
Leader KP Oli from Jhapa-7 and former CA Chairman Subhas Nembang will be contesting from Ilam-2. UML Secretary Bishnu Poudel will be contesting from Rupandehi-4 and Nawalparasi-3.
UML General Secretary, Ishwar Pokhrel, will be contesting from Kathmandu-5. Similarly, actor Bhuwan KC will be contesting from Kathmandu-1.
