This year's regional forum - focused on the theme of From Competition to Competence - aspires to bring counselors from all over Nepal and international admissions representatives to share their perspectives, experiences, and resources when it comes to providing impactful guidance to high school students. The forum will feature a keynote lecture, learning sessions from educators and counselors on topics pertaining to guidance counseling, and networking sessions with universities and parents.

Around 20 international universities and 60 domestic schools will be participating in this momentous one-day event which aims to provide a platform for purposeful interaction amongst Nepali educators, international higher education representatives, and Nepali students and parents.

Medin Lamichhane, principal of Ullens School, is scheduled to deliver opening remarks and Ganesh Kohli, founder of the IC3 movement, will deliver a session on “Transforming Schools through Counseling”. Shisir Khanal, the former Minister for Education, Science, and Technology will deliver the keynote address.

Both Ullens School and the IC3 believe that this will be a landmark opportunity to generate awareness about the significance of guidance counseling in schools around Nepal.
