Chairman Dahal gave this instruction in a meeting with the party cadres from the district at local Kanyam on Wednesday morning. [break]
On the occasion, he reiterated that federalism with identity and constitution with federalism was the key agenda of the party.
The UCPN (Maoist) chairman directed the party cadres to help create environment conducive to the election wherein all the people could wholeheartedly participate in the election process as this election would be significant in terms of institutionalizing the federal democratic republic.
He also said that the government would announce the date for the election within a few days.
Chairman Dahal further said that the government has been assigned all the responsibilities regarding the election after the High Level Political Committee failed to reach consensus on contentious issues. He also stressed that all should accept the decision of the government in this regard.
Dahal said that the country could not get a new constitution from the dissolved Constituent Assembly due to the differences among the parties on key issues of the constitution such as state restructuring, forms of governance and the election system.
