KATHMANDU, Sept 22: Minister for Women, Children, Youth and Sports of Province 2, Birendra Prasad Singh has assaulted and verbally abused leaders and cadres of his party, the Nepali Congress, over the distribution of active membership of the party. Minister Singh has abused leaders and cadres at the party's central office in Sanepa over the issue of membership.
Singh, a provincial assembly member from Sarlahi-4 (a), had reached the party's central office. After a dispute over the membership, he was stopped by other party leaders.
