The District Police Office, Kaski has arrested 18-year-old Kumar Gurung of Manakamana-3, Syangja district on the charge of raping the five-year-old girl from Parsyang, Pokhara-15. Gurung had been recently living in Parsyang.Police said that Gurung called the girl to his room inviting her for watching television, offered her a candy and raped her. He was arrested on the basis of an FIR filed by the girls relatives.
Similarly, police arrested one Sewa Chaudhary on the charge of raping a 16-year-old girl of Pokhara -17. Originally from Chitwan, Chaudhary had been living in Pokhara. He called the girl to his room on the pretext of handing her a book to read and then raped her, police said.
Chaudhary was arrested on April 18. Investigation is on in both rape cases, according to police. RSS
