MAHENDRANAGAR, Feb 27: Two minor girls of Kanchanpur have been raped in a span of two weeks.
On February 15, a thirteen-year-old girl was raped in Krishnapur. Reportedly, the victim was raped on her way to school. Three days after the incident, a four-year-old girl of Purnabas was raped at her home, according to police.

Kanchanpur police has arrested the perpetrators of both the cases and has started taking necessary action against them. DSP Dilliraj Bista of District Police Office, Kanchanpur informed that both the girls are currently at home after getting treatment in Seti Zonal Hospital.
Bhim Bahadur Shrimal, 36, of Purnabas-8 has been accused of raping the four-year-old minor who was sleeping with her grandmother. Shrimal had apparently taken the little girl out of her bed at around 1 am and raped her. After the incident, he left the little girl on her own bed and ran away, informed the police. However, police succeeded to nab him.
The victim's family had filed a complaint against Shrimal at Area Police Office, Tribhuwanbasti. It has been found that the victim's house is on the way to Shrimal's house. Shrimal has reportedly admitted to his crime during police interrogation.
