The drivers were involved in clearing the debris of a landslide that had already occurred at the same place, when another landslide buried them. Security personnel including Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force were mobilized at the site for rescue operation.
However, it had not been possible due to continuous landslip and a difficult terrain. The drivers are feared to have been buried in the landslide, as they are out of contact for a longtime, said the ward member Surya Lamichhane. The excavator is owned by local Bimalesh Acharya and the tipper by Hari Ghimire of Parbat.
