Two die in Janakpur, PCR results awaited

LAHAN, Aug 9: Two people with symptoms of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) died at separate hospitals in Janakpurdham on Sunday morning.

LAHAN, Aug 9: Two people with symptoms of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) died at separate hospitals in Janakpurdham on Sunday morning.


Their throat swab samples have been collected for COVID-19 tests.

A security guard in Binaytara Foundation Hospital from Mithila Bihari Rural Municipality died today morning while he was being taken to the hospital for further treatment. According to the family members, he was having breathing difficulties for the last few days.


Similarly, a man undergoing treatment in Kabya Hospital also died this morning. He was a patient of heart disease and asthma.


Chief District Officer Prem Prasad Bhattarai said that the dead bodies were handed over to family members after collecting swab samples of the deceased.
