KATHMANDU, July 16: Two people have been arrested in Nepalgunj with banned medicines.
Police arrested them from Jamunaha of Nepalgunj Sub-metropolitan City-15.

Chhote Lal Tharu and Bhunsi Tharu of Kohalpur Municipality-15 were arrested on July 15 en route to Nepalgunj from Rupaidiha, India, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Narayan Dangi, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Banke.
According to DSP Dangi, Bhunsi, who was pillion-riding the motorcycle (Ba 10 Pa 2258) driven by Chhotelal, had tried to hide 1000 pieces of Vocet and 1000 pieces of Nimesulide tablets inside a plastic bag. The drugs were sent to the Department of Drug Administration office in Nepalgunj for further necessary action.
