KATHMANDU, Jan 8: Two individuals involved in the embezzlement of savings at Swarnalaxmi Cooperative in Kalimati, Kathmandu, have been released on bail.
As per the Kathmandu District Court's order, Sunita Newa, a member of the cooperative's accounting committee, and Kamal Lama, a board of director member, were released on bail on Tuesday. Newa was granted a bail of Rs 400,000, while Lama was released on a bail of Rs 300,000.

The release was ordered by a bench of Kathmandu District Court Judge Padmaraj Pandey.
