KATHMANDU, May 1: Police have arrested two people on the charge of stealing money from Nabil Bank in Birgunj, Parsa.
Parsa District Police Office SP Kumud Dhungel said that two people were arrested whose details have been kept confidential by the police as the investigation is ongoing.
The police are proceeding with the investigation as others involved in the theft case are yet to be arrested.

The CCTV footage of the bank reveals that Rs 13.4 million was stolen away from the bank around 4 AM on Monday.
It has been revealed that there was no security guard in the bank at the time of the theft. Due to the absence of a security guard, the police have started an investigation saying that the incident is more suspicious.
The thieves who came in a group of 5/6 stole money and escaped. Although two people were arrested, the police recovered a small amount of money. The police suspect that the remaining amount has already been taken to India.
According to police sources, they are working in coordination with the Indian police on the suspicion that the other thieves in the group have fled to India.
