KATHMANDU, July 27: Nabil Bank has announced the Fellowship Program 2022 for the second cohort under its flagship program Nabil School of Social Entrepreneurship (Nabil SSE).
The bank, in this regard, has called for applications from eligible candidates who can apply for the fellowship till August 20. “Aspiring social entrepreneurs and innovative thinkers aged between 18 to 50 Nepali citizens can apply for the fellowship with their innovative ideas to bring social change and contribute to sustainable development,” reads a press release issued by the bank.
Daayitwa completes eighth fellowship program
Nabil Bank initiated this program with the collaboration of the School of Management, Tribhuvan University and the technical support from School of Social Entrepreneurship, India. According to Nabil Bank, the main objective of the program is to promote social entrepreneurship across the country in the areas of livelihood, capacity building, agriculture, education, healthcare, arts and community welfare and energy, among others.
In the first cohort of the program, 20 fellows were able to receive Nabil SSE Certification. The participants got both practical and theoretical knowledge about legal and tax issues, marketing, branding, and others to become a social entrepreneur.
The fellowship will run for six months. Every month, there will be three days residential training for the fellows with practical guidance in their workplace, according to Nabil Bank.
